NEWPORT

This past year I have really enjoyed traveling to new places that were only a car ride away. Newport Rhode Island was one of those places. Check out below for my recommendations.

ON THE WAY: Stop in Mystic, Connecticut. I’m a huge fan of the Mystic Pizza movie and was so excited to see it in person. So many friends recommended the visit. Looking for something sweet pop into Sift Bake Shop. Already craving some lobster, Abbott’s is a must.

STAY: Hammetts Hotel (Brand new hotel. Such a great location!)

EAT: Clarke Cooke House, Black Pearl, The Roof Deck at The Vanderbilt, The Cafe at The Chanler, Castle Hill Inn, Belle’s Cafe (best breakfast), Gwyen’s (breakfast)

EXPLORE: The Cliff Walk, The Breakers, Marble House, Easton’s Beach, Block Island (requires a ferry to get to)
