Big Hair, Full Hearts Can't Lose

I always get so many compliments and comments about my hair, so I thought I would spill my secrets. When it comes to curling my hair there are 2 ways I do it. When I get out of the shower I always put Drybar heat protector "Hot Toddy" on to protect my strands. I usually blow dry my hair like a rocker (haha) with my head flipped over to make sure I get the back. I don't really stress when it comes to blowing out my hair straight because it's easier to curl when there is no set direction of the strands.

Since my roots are curly I flatiron from the roots to midway down. Then I section out my hair and curl using a 1 inch wand. Always curl away from your face. I tend to do over/under so on the left I curl over the strands and away, and on the right I use the iron under the strands and wrap down. Once I am done I use Ouai oil on the bottom to prevent split ends. Sometimes I will either rub some Ouai finishing cream through to make the curls look more natural. (*You can always brush out for an old Hollywood glam look)

If I wanted to skip the flatiron which definitely is time-consuming I just curl my hair and spray afterward with Ouai wave spray to create that messy fresh from the beach hair. I am always trying new hair products and testing new methods. Shop my favorite haircare below.
